PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This comprehensive project outlines a holistic support program dedicated to assisting stroke survivors across the western counties of Kenya, with a primary focus on Bungoma, Busia, and Kakamega. The project aims to address the multifaceted needs of stroke patients and survivors by providing essential services including medication, food assistance, and educational support for children, shelter and housing support and access to assistive devices. In addition to direct support services, the project emphasizes the importance of community sensitization efforts aimed at raising awareness about stroke prevention, recognition of symptoms, and the importance of timely medical intervention. Through a collaborative approach involving healthcare professionals, community leaders, and stakeholders.
