PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We would like to create a site/app where we can have a database of animals in shelters which can be adopted. The general idea is to: - start a pilot with 1 animal shelter in Goiania, and build it up - include animal wellbeing and responsible ownership information - include information on local projects - get patrons to support animals until adopted (e.g. feed and surgery costs) - get industry support which will be published (e.g. feed and medicine donation) - get local volunteers to support with activities at the shelters - have a space for ads to support the site. Initially we would need to support to plan and organize how to build the site, and later maintain it. So we would need volunteers with experience in this area to start.
Project Objectives
- Outlet to promote responsible adoption from animal shelters in Goiania
- Promote education on responsible ownership and animal wellbeing
- Offer transparency for patrons/supporters, monetize site for self-reliance
