PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Taku village is situated in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. With a population of over 8000 inhabitants. There exist a small health center with only one nurse. There is a necessity to build a modern community health Center for the village. The goal of this project is to seek for advice from expert in the medical field on how to design a plan of a modern community health center with all it's facilities, to seek for potential funders to partner with Taku Association For Development ( Village development organisation) to realize the construction the Center. This community health center shall be named after Farmer Tantoh's ( MMH Fellow) grandmother Called Sarah Ntala who is currently 115 years today and had always had dreams for Taku Village to have access to good medical facility.

Project Objectives

  • 1- Design a plan for a modern health center for Taku village.
  • 2- Raise funds for the construction of the health center.
  • 3-Train the village on how to manage a community health center.

SYFA works with children, youths and low-income farmers, educating them on environmental protection and sustainable agriculture. SYFA's activities are focused on protecting water catchments and building springs for clean water, horticulture and landscape designs, introducing agroforestry systems to low-income farmers and encouraging communities to live ecological lifestyles. SYFA has established over 800 gardens in communities and built over 60 water projects in entire Northwest Region of Cameroon. We believe that our activities shall help the UN achieve SDG's 2, 6 and 7by 2030.
