PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are in the process of establishing The Farmer Tantoh Foundation. We intend to build a community hospital in my village in memory of my grandmother who is above 100years. I grew up with her as a little boy. She had always had a vision of a hospital since 1947. She featured in my book "I am Farmer". The village authorities already allocated a land for construction while the government has tasked the village to build the hospital and their role is to send trained staff to serve in the hospital. We are now willing to design a plan for a hospital/medical center to be built in Taku, a remote village located in Northwest Region of Cameroon. We are also engaged in MMH in the Kenya project. We are running a train the trainer program with community leaders on water conservation and access.

Project Objectives

  • establish a plan to develop access to health in a rural community + advice on the best solution to implement
